Styling A Crop Top

Black Feather Embellished Crop Top - Glamorous

I bought this crop top from Glamorous and I just love the feather embellishment on it. The top features an embellished round neckline and spaghetti straps. Iv put together 3 different outfits featuring this top

Shorts - Primark (old)

For the first outfit, I wore the top with some high waisted shorts. I added boots and a bandana to create a cool and edgy look. Well my take on' cool' and 'edgy' A great festival outfit I think!

Jeans - Topshop (Jamie)

For the second outfit, I swapped the shorts for some Topshop Jamie jeans and black slip on plimsolls for a more relaxed look.

Black Midi Skirt - Boohoo (old)

For the third and final look, I decided to put together an outfit for a night/evening out. I styled the top with a black midi skirt and some heels. Its always great when you find a top that can be worn to create different looks. I find this top to be very versatile in how you can wear it, taking it from day to night.

Festival Vibes

As it is that time of year, I thought Id put together a post featuring a couple of items that I bought recently which I feel have that festival vibe to them.

The Kayley Black Patchwork Dress - PrettyLittleThing

The Kayley Black Patchwork Dress would be great to wear at a festival. Its a knitted crochet fabric dress featuring bold patchwork and eye-popping colours. Wear with chunky boots and a chocker for that cool edgy look! With this dress I would recommend sizing down and there is a lot of give to it.

Alaya Teal Crochet Maxi Dress - PrettyLittleThing

The colour of this crochet maxi dress... need I say more, I had to buy it. I love the large cut out crochet detail of the fabric and it looks great over swimsuit or bikini! Theres no give in this fabric so if your in-between sizes then I would suggest getting the larger size. This dress isn't available online anymore but there are similar styles available.

Kay Black Lace Tassel Playsuit - PrettyLittleThing

As the festival season is upon us this playsuit styled with some boots would create the perfect look. The playsuit is made from intricate lace fabric which is sheer on the sleeves and back. It features a plunge front design, with lace up tassel details.

Lace Body - TopShop (old)
Trousers - PrettyLittleThing

These wide leg trousers are great for creating an edgy off-duty look. They are made from a jersey fabric so they are really comfortable and easy to wear! The only downside to these trousers is that they drape towards the crotch area, which isn't the most flattering look.

Boohoo Off The Shoulder Co-ord

Rada Off The Should Co-Ord Set - Boohoo

Now I wasn't expecting this co-ord to be as bright as it was. On the Boohoo website the colours don't seem bright at all and the same in the photos I took, but in person the orange is very bold and bright. I love the bardot frilly top and think it looks great worn with jeans. I find the skirt slightly to short for my liking, would be great to wear on holiday though! Overall its a very summery outfit and not bad for £18, especially when you can mix and match both pieces with different items.
